Skyrim is mostly winter or autumn. Now spring is slowly coming to Sweden and walking around in the snowstorms of Skyrim is a bit depressing. It's time for some spring :)
I'm playing around with re-texturing some of the grasses, bushes and trees to get a more spring or summer feeling. I don't know anything about building models, so at the moment re-textureing will have to do. I should be working on region generation, but this was just more fun :)
The list is long of all the new flowers, bushes and trees I would like to have. I will focus on common Scandinavian spring flowers first, like Lily of the valley (
Convallaria majalis), wood anemone (
Anemone nemorosa), hepatica, sloe (
Prunus spinosa), cowslip (
Primula veris) and coltsfoot (
Tussilago farfara).
So far I have only done Lily of the valley and the aspen. The result is far from perfect and I will have to take the camera out in
the woods in a month or so when spring have finally arrived here to get
better suited pictures to work with.
